ahahahah!  We well represent on tumblr eh?  I LOVE finding other chromatic canadians too — especially us ones from the diaspora.  There’s so many conversations and complications we need to talk about, ways that tings different for us nah, even though most of the time we settle for being folded into the USian voices.  Your fantastic essay on being black and Canadian struck so many chords with me because it intersects a lot of my experiences being Indo-Trini Canadian.  We as chromatic-diaspora-Canoodians have so much to talk about when it comes to those intersections and separations!!
