The cream of the acting crop in the 90s, I tell you whut.  Come for Christian Slater’s permanent look of bafflement, stay for Patrick Dempsey’s peculiar adenoidal line readings.

I’m disappointed Lara Flynn Boyle isn’t in this group shot, because her interminable dialogue with Slater about being “friends” more or less sums up the astonishing stupidity of this entire movie.  NGL, though, I own it and watch it regularly — like the also-excruciating Bad Influence and the unlike-any-other-movie Cool as Ice, they’re 90s movies that I have an unshakeable love for, heh.
